In the recent Gartner Magic Quadrant for WCM, there are more leaders than in any other Quadrant. At Tahzoo, we’re proud to work with many of them, including Adobe, Sitecore, E-Spirit, Hippo and especially SDL. Whenever we sit down with one of our clients we access their individual needs before we recommend a particular vendor. That being said, most of our large, global, enterprise clients end up selecting SDL, particularly in the financial services industry.
Why? I think the Gartner report sums it up best. “SDL’s BluePrinting capability and architecture allow it to readily accommodate a mobile, multi-channel, multi-device and multi-language web presence.” If you are a global company that needs the ability to scale in terms of traffic, localization and personalization, there isn’t any better software out there than SDL.
But I think the more important thing to consider when selecting an CMS is to understand how that choice will fit into your company’s overall enterprise marketing platform. Which is another whole discussion, but for now, I simply want to share our agreement with Gartner that SDL clearly belongs in the leadership quadrant and particularly among global enterprises where the ability to scale, localize and personalize is critical to successful customer experiences.
Again, our congrats to all of our partners that made it onto the 2015 Gartner Magic Quadrant for WCM. Managing, personalizing and publishing content is the key to delivering contextually relevant, personalized customer experiences which produce measurable and repeatable business outcomes.
