This week, I decided to interview Frank Taylor, Senior Front End Developer here at Tahzoo. I’ve heard some great things about him and wanted to learn more about what he does during his spare time. (Besides saving the world, of course).
What do I do
Based out of…
Bloomington, Illinois. Halfway between St. Louis and Chicago. I like that my wife can take me to a Cubs game, and I can take her to see a World Series winning team (Go Cardinals!).
Where to eat
If you ended up in Bloomington (because accidents could happen), you should eat at Destihl, here in Bloomington. They’re a great microbrew, and they have fantastic beer-battered bacon.
I’ve played guitar for over half my life. I love to write music and play in my church’s worship band. I’ve gotten into bluegrass so I’m learning Mandolin and Banjo. I also like to study different languages; in preparation for the MVP retreat I’m studying Portuguese. In the summer months, I’ll enjoy the outdoors with archery or going to the gun range. In the winter I’ll build things around the house; recently I’ve really gotten into joinery and cabinet making as I’m building some bookshelves and benches.
Sometimes, if I get bored, I’ll blog, or train for a Tough Mudder.
